If you are being bullied, there are some things you need to know…

First, you are not alone, there are so many amazing people who have shared experiences just like you. We have added some links to people who have shared their bully stories below. Secondly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You are exactly how you should be. In most cases, the bully is acting out because there is something not quite right for them. They are in need of some help. Thirdly, do not go through this alone. Make sure you tell someone you trust. There are people who want to help you. 

Many children experienced bullying is because they see it every day! It happens when someone repeatedly hurts or scares another person on purpose. Everyone needs to get involved to help stop it. Bullying makes the person being bullied feel afraid or uncomfortable. It can also be intimidating to see or witness this behaviour as you don’t want to be the next target. There are many ways that young people bully each other, even if they don’t realize it at the time.
